Megyn Kelly Memoir Bombshell: Was the Fox News Anchor Poisoned Prior to First Republican Primary Debate?
Megyn Kelly‘s tense relationship with President-Elect Donald Trump is about to get a lot more strained.
According to the New York Times, the Fox News anchor reveals in her new memoir that Trump was tipped off about a question she was going to ask in the first first Republican presidential primary debate (which she moderated).
Per the excerpt, the day before the debate, an enraged Trump called Fox execs because he heard her first question “was a very pointed” one “directed at him,” she writes. This spooked her because it was true — the first question dealt with Trump’s misogynistic language about women. She does not speculate whether the leak originated from inside her own network.
What Kelly writes happens next, per the Times, is even more unsettling
Her story becomes more byzantine. On the day of the debate, Ms. Kelly writes, she woke up feeling great. Then an overzealous, suspiciously enthusiastic driver picked her up to take her to the convention center. He insisted on getting her coffee, though she’d repeatedly declined his offer. Once it was in her hand, she drank it. And within 15 minutes, she was violently ill, vomiting so uncontrollably that it was unclear if she’d be able to go on and help moderate that evening. It was so bad that she kept a trash pail beneath her desk throughout the debate, just in case.
Ms. Kelly never says outright that someone tried to poison her. (A stomach bug was going around, she notes.) But the episode spooked her enough that she shared it later with Roger Ailes and a lawyer friend of his. Foul play? Again: She reports. You decide.
Trump later appeared on Kelly’s Fox primetime special in May, telling her “I don’t really blame you, because you’re doing your thing.”

Virginia allowed 60,000 felons to vote and Hillary won that state by… 60,000 votes. Add the usual dead people vote (funny how those who are staunch Republicans while alive ALWAYS vote Democrat after they die), those people who vote up to a dozen or so times, and voter machines that flipped people’s votes from Trump to Hillary (though never the other way around), the electoral college system is the ONLY thing preventing theft of the presidency at this point.

Once he got the nomination, they turned on him and went out of their way to serve as de facto Clinton campaign operatives. This occurred during the news sections as well as the commentary sections. Fox, meanwhile, was dead set against Hillary during the commentary sections. When the news reporting took center stage, though, both sides were routinely represented. Too bad that wasn’t the case with the irresponsible networks.

The truth about Megyn’s story is all in the ratings — on the Fox news line up — Fox gets all the viewership and then her show comes on and the ratings drop through the floor — people r turning to CNN or MSNBC and we know how slanted they are but people would rather watch the fantasies there then the fantasy Fox allows Megyn to spew — Hannity comes on after her and the ratings go back up — check the ratings it is undeniable it is happening so this is Megyn’s attempt to jump the shark — will it work didn’t for the show that the term was coined from — no Happy Days for Megyn I suspect

Having been tipped off as to the subject of a planned question, and having actually been given the question, are entirely different. But whether or not Trump was tipped off, which, if Megyn’s account is true, did indeed happen, it was plain that she was deeply prejudiced against him at the time she “moderated” the debate. This, in and by itself, was a violation of professional ethics. She should have recused herself, admitting that she was too prejudiced to be fair in her treatment of the candidates.
Wish FOX would FIRE her (Kelly).
