In November 2023, the IETF Trustees proposed some amendments to the IETF Intellectual Property Management Corporation bylaws with the intent to improve transparency for future changes and to acknowledge the IETF LLC.
A 60 day public notice period for these changes was announced on November 8, 2023. Following this public notice period, the amended bylaws were unanimously approved by the Trustees on January 8, 2024.
