'Mirzapur Season 3' starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Vijay Varma, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, and more, delves deep into the power struggles and thirst for revenge in the lawless town of Uttar Pradesh.
Much like the audience, Sherrnavaz Sam Jijina, who plays Shabnam, is eagerly anticipating what happens next and who will ultimately reign as the king of Mirzapur.
In an interview with News 18, Sherrnavaz Sam Jijina hinted that the wait for the next season won't be long.
She mentioned that it will happen very soon and confirmed that there will be a fourth season. The writing is currently in progress, and she is confident that it will feature a lot of shock value.
Sherrnavaz revealed that season three ends on a cliffhanger, and the writers are busy creating a world that does justice to it. She mentioned that they need to gauge and come up with more elements that can shock people, and expressed amazement at how the writers manage to do that season after season. She emphasized that shock value is the USP of the series and hopes people will continue to watch and support it.
Sherrnavaz recalled that when Mirzapur began in 2018, many criticized its intense violence. She had previously revealed that she was shocked by the violence when she first read the script. Addressing the question of how much violence is too much, she noted that it's very subjective given their creative space and is a requirement of the show. However, she admitted that she still freaks out when she sees a murder scene in it.

Sherrnavaz continued, explaining that 'Mirzapur' feels like her show and its cast and crew like her family, so violent scenes have a strong impact on her. She expressed astonishment at the amount of work put into each violent scene and emphasized that they deliver what the audience wants to see.
It also starred Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Vijay Varma and Shweta Tripathi Sharma in pivotal roles.
