40 Beaconsfield Avenue - BEACONSFIELD VILLAGE (6 Comments)

In June, I posted this house that was a 6+2 bedroom, 6 bathroom semi on a 34.92 x 124.25 foot lot with a detached garage and 7 parking spots at 40 Beaconsfield Avenue in Beaconsfield Village.

It was a house that had been on the market a year earlier for $1,549,000 and had apparently sold.

And it was back on the market for $1,490,000.

The day after I posted it, this house sold for $1,700,000.

Two weeks later, the attached house at 38 Beaconsfield Avenue came on the market...

It was listed at $2,149,000.  It sold for $2,096,000.

Or $396,000 more than the neighbour.

Seven months later and from the listing photo above, the house at 38 Beaconsfield Avenue is being gutted...

And this house was flipped.

It is now a 4+2 bedroom, 6 bathroom house...

There is baseboard heating.  The windows are original....from over 100 years ago....

Annnnd this is the kitchen...

The asking price is...

$2,450,000.
