I cover courts and justice for The Hill, with a focus on cases tinged by national politics. My reporting spans the legal battles of former President Trump and other prominent political figures, the U.S. Supreme Court and the aftermath of the Capitol riot.

Before joining The Hill, I worked at USA Today as a political reporter covering Congress, elections and justice. I reported on the monthslong seditious conspiracy trials of the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys after Jan. 6, and covered young voters at length during the 2022 midterm elections. I also covered misinformation about international conflict, domestic elections and public health as an intern.

A Chicagoland native, my work has appeared in the Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune and additional local publications. I studied journalism and American politics at DePaul University and served as managing editor of its student newspaper, The DePaulia. While in college, I earned numerous local and national awards for my reporting on university Title IX failures and administrative power dynamics.
