Dua Lipa Gets Soaking Wet In Daisy Dukes During Shopping Downpour

Dua Lipa couldn't have predicted the rain would be this heavy as she got absolutely soaked while shopping for designer clothes last summer. In July 2023, the "New Rules" hitmaker hit up London, U.K.'s exclusive Sloane Street for some retail therapy, hitting up celebrity-adored brand Bottega Veneta and seemingly making quite a large purchase. Enjoying her outing solo, but with an assistant doing the heavy lifting, Dua showed off her killer legs in tiny denim shorts, making her street style edgy with a leather jacket finish, but ultimately ending up completely drenched.

Scroll for the photo. Braving the sideways rain as she exited Bottega Veneta, Dua highlighted her long legs in a trendy, thigh-skimming pair of Daisy Dukes. Rocking the ripped denim trend, the Grammy winner accessorized her look with a black leather biker jacket and knee-high leather boots, also swinging her leather purse around as she let her assistant carry the bulky stuff.

Squnting on the sidewalk and without an umbrella, Dua did the best she could as the heavens opened, with the photos showing her near bare-faced and wearing her dark hair tied back.

Photos shared by The Daily Mail also showed Dua Lipa's assistant lugging huge green bags bearing the Bottea Veneta logo. Smiling amid the downpour, the Houdini hitmaker and her assistant made their way across the street, presumably winding up in a fancy vehicle that was waiting for them. Users seeing the photos didn't seem too impressed, though, with many feeling that the 28-year-old could at least have carried some of her purchases.

"Not sure she is that down to Earth if her stylist/assistant has to carry the bags. Usually if you are spending that much you get the bags delivered that day by the stores concierge service," one replied.

Dua makes headlines for her red carpet gowns and glittery stage outfits, but she's just as much a talking point for her fierce swimsuit body. In this photo, the star went sunkissed while relaxing poolside as she stripped down to an itty-bitty bikini in black prints with green piping. As to how she achieves her ripped physique, it isn't all hardcore workouts.

Speaking to Refinery29in 2021, Dua Lipa dished:

"[7.30am is] ​​time for a walk with my dog, Dexter," adding: "I got really lucky that he and I have the same sleep schedule. If I need to catch a couple extra hours of sleep he's right there with me, but on days when I'm up bright and early, he's ready for his morning walk. Our walks are the perfect way to get my mind right for the day ahead."
