While the UK celebrates its newest Prime Minister, across the Atlantic in the United States of America, things are not looking good for President Joe Biden.

The 81-year-old has fallen behind in the ongoing presidential race, with his biggest competitor, Donald Trump, leading the polls.

Biden's numbers significantly declined after his underwhelming debate performance reportedly sparked concerns about his age. Many seemed to believe he was too old to lead the country, according to a new poll from The New York Times and Siena College.

Trump currently leads Biden by 49% to 43% among likely voters nationally. This is the largest lead the former president has recorded in a Times/Siena poll since 2015.
