We are thrilled to announce that our Reflective Guide on Transformative Mentorship is now available for download, for free. Thank you to 119+ people who joined us on Zoom and LinkedIn Live for the launch on Monday. 🙏 Special thanks to our speakers, Curriculum Design Consultant Rani Pramesti, and Wedu Mentor Victoria Wong (she/her), CEP® Wong, for sharing insights on the guide's design and the power of examining our values in mentoring. 🌟 Highlights from our conversation with Rani and Victoria: 👐 Six key elements of what makes you a mentor: The guide asks you to engage in your why, your positionality, your core values, your beliefs, your ability to be power literate, and your unique mentoring style. 🤝 A trauma-informed approach to mentoring: Many communities where women leaders you mentor come from are at the front lines of climate change-induced disasters, armed and violent conflicts, and increasingly complex gender-based violence. So, the guide offers some foundational trauma-informed tools to be able to support mentees adequately. 🌏 Cross-cultural mentoring: The workbook presents patriarchy, disability, neurodiversity, and indigeneity as forms of culture and helps you critique culture-based assumptions. It uses values as a way to engage cross-culturally. 🔗 Download the Reflective Guide on #Transformative #Mentorship to design your unique #mentoring style or programmes: https://lnkd.in/dVyYBp5P

Empowering Lives: Bridging Success, Fostering Independence. ~ Finance Analyst | Psychologist | Soft Skills Trainer | Research Scholar | Activist
Transforming Money Stories: My Rewarding Wedu Workshop with Inspiring Women (and Men!) What an moving experience it was leading a workshop last week as a Wedu Mentor for Wedu Global! Over 40 amazing women (and some fantastic men!) from South Asia and Southeast Asia joined me on Zoom, all eager to reimagine their relationship with money. This wasn't your typical budgeting and spreadsheets session. We went deeper, exploring how to: >>Uncover Your Money Mindset: We all have beliefs and emotions tied to money, and sometimes they can be limiting. I helped participants identify these patterns to cultivate a more positive and empowered perspective. >>Align Finances with Life Goals: From dream vacations to secure retirements, it all starts with planning. We explored strategies to bridge the gap between money and aspirations. >>Master Your Money Personality: Are you a spender, a saver, or somewhere in between? I equipped everyone with techniques tailored to their unique financial styles. >>Build Psychological Safety with Money: Talking about finances can be stressful, but I fostered a safe space for open discussion, reducing anxiety and encouraging open communication. >>Develop Actionable Strategies: No one leaves empty-handed from my workshops! I provided practical tools and techniques to help participants achieve financial success. One of the workshop highlights was exploring the fascinating cultural differences in approaching money. The concept of "saving face" in some Southeast Asian countries sparked a rich conversation. My goal is always to ensure everyone feels included and their perspectives are valued. A huge thank you to all the participants for their openness and active participation! Your commitment to financial empowerment is truly inspiring. Special Thanks to Juliana Shrestha for leading the Community. Ready to join the movement towards financial freedom? Stay tuned for upcoming workshops! And for those seeking similar empowering experiences in the future, connect with Women's Independence Forever! #FinancialEmpowerment #WomensFinancialLiteracy #WeduGlobal #GlancyAlbuquerque #FinancialWellness #SouthAsia #SoutheastAsia #MoneyMindset
