Jack’s Story

Jack Hoffman is the inspiration behind the foundation. After being diagnosed with brain cancer at age five, Jack won the hearts of many with his touchdown run in the 2013 Nebraska spring game.

This Team Jack-funded trial tests a novel heat shock protein vaccine to target DIPG, the deadliest brain tumor in children.

Power5 Pediatric Brain Tumor Initiative

Team Jack has pledged $5 million to fund the Pediatric Brain Tumor Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Omaha and Children’s Hospital Omaha.
