Controller feels great. Considering the upgrade controller, but I haven't decided. The game choices are phenomenal. It's official: XBOX lost, buy a Playstation.

A gaming station just like the others with seemingly better visuals. I for one like it of course and it's definitely a great gift to give. Just like all gaming stations when you play on it for long periods of time it does produce noise. I'm assuming like most modern technology that it's a fan just simply trying to cool it down which is why I also bought a cooling stand for it. Games on here are absolutely gorgeous. But so was the ps4 and it's games as well. Seems to also be backwards compatible which is rare for any other gaming industry minus Nintendo but a nice feature for sure and hopefully they keep up with it. It's nice not having to repurchase hard copies from a previous console just so I can play it again. Not that I ever did. But on a more serious note why bother making 2 completely different types of ps5s? One for downloads only and the other for disc and downloads. It honestly was giving me anxiety. I had to check 20 times before I was satisfied that I was getting the disc one.

I've owned every PS generation (1 - 5) within a year of release since the PS1 came out. I don't see that changing anytime soon if Sony continues to have the best controller, best exclusives, and gamer focused has it has since PS1.

Of the gen jumps (PS1 to 2, PS2 to 3, PS3 to 4, and PS4 to 5, this jump from PS4 to PS5 is, to me, the most impressive gen-up of the group. The PS5 graphics just look amazing for a console, and it loads huge games so fast. I'm so appreciative and fortunate to be able to have my PS5 Slim Console. Love it, love the new PS5 controller shape, and their familiar horizontally aligned analog thumb sticks. and will continue to be a Playstation supporter because of the exclusives, their console and gamer focus, and their dedication and focused approach to their console market.

Will XBox be a thing in another 10 years? I don't know with the way Microsoft has hinted in the last few years. Personally, I hope they stick with it and push Sony to compete. It's better for all of us who play on a console, regardless of preference.

Sony seems fully dedicated to their console's future. Something to consider for sure if looking for a current gen console (XBox or Sony)
