Received this on 11/13/19 and immediately had problems with the screen glitching, i thought it had been dealt with but less then an hr later it blue screens. I honestly should have seen this coming considering how cheep this thing is compared to laptops with similar specs. Will be returning this as soon as possible for a full refund.

This laptop is seriously awesome! I use it for school, some programming, and light gaming. So far it's handled everything perfectly. It starts up lightning fast, the battery is good, I haven't actually timed life though. It's never died on me at school. I baby it, so I can't speak to durability. The only downside is the fan makes a high pitched whine when the system is getting taxed.

This laptop was kind of a nightmare to set up and will definitely overheat if you keep everything on stock settings. After getting everything properly undervolted and getting an external cooling pad, though, this thing runs pretty much anything I throw at it barring very CPU intensive titles on medium to high settings with no trouble.

3 days after receiving laptop, started having error messages. Found out the computer only had 103 GB and not the 1 TB memory as stated in product description. JavaScript crashed on day 4, preventing me from working my job. I called customer support. They picked up the defective laptop and told me the replacement would come in two days. Now, Amazon is telling me it could be another week. Meanwhile, I’m unable to work, potentially loosing over a week’s worth of income due to their error. Amazon has offered nothing to compensate for my looses or to attempt a rush delivery. Extremely upset about this situation, especially how it’s impacting my job.

Work great now but setup was a nightmare. Failed updates lead to BIOS issues. If I had not known more about computers I probably would have returned it. Overall a solid product once setup. Backlight looks great and the machine feels superb. Fans can run loud with the Alienware settings but you can control fan speed if you want it to be quieter.
