    I have an old 960 EVO I bought in 2016. My God that's almost a decade ago.... 1/7th of my life. Poof. Gone.Existential horror aside, when I installed this little guy, I moved a copy of BG3 to it and measured the load-time of the same game save on each drive. I am thrilled. Finally upgraded and boy was it worth it. My load time was *1 second faster* lol. I should believe Jayztwocents when he rants about how drive speed is mostly a gimmick and won't make that much of a difference. Do I regret buying this? Heck no. It's pretty and it actually does make a measurable difference. It's sort of halfway noticeable without timing the load times by the second.Just did an overhaul on my system. Only my PNY 3080 was moved from my old system to my new one. I built that old boy long ago. Shopping around, I was so amazed by the HUGE increase in everything, particularly MOBOs and DDR5 ram, but CPUs are amazingly speedy, too! M.2 speeds TRIPLED.I snagged a MEG Z690 ACE, an i5-13600k, 32GB 6000 MHz RAM sticks with pretty lights, and a slick Lian Li Evo XL case, along with these little guys. I am so happy to be done with it (but I still have space for 5 more case fans). I pinched pennies for 6 months. All the pinto beans and cornbread was worth it. They're actually pretty tasty.Buy this thing because you want to. Even knowing what I know now, I would do it again, but I am not a smart man so take that into consideration.

    Hello to anyone reading this, this is the first review I'm writing, but I'll try to be as informative as possible.

    I bought the SSD to use on my PS5 (standard edition with bluray disc player, not the slim version), I ordered it on September 4th 2023 and received it on the 12th of the same month.

    It's May 28, 2024 as I'm writing this, so I've been using the SSD on my console for 8 months now, and I've never had any hardware or software problems with it, the installation was trouble-free and so was the formatting, I use it to store my PS5 games (I keep PS4 games on the main storage) and whether it's for downloading, moving, or simply launching games everything is done quickly, I've never had any slowdowns with it or heating problems.

    I highly recommend this SSD for anyone looking to upgrade their PS5 storage. It's a reliable and noticeably faster storage solution.

    This internal solid state drive from Western Digital is quite good! I have had zero problems with it and have used it for several months and added approx. 105 games or so to it. It was at a reasonable price and it works well! I went with the 2 TB which is great, but in retrospect I should have gone with a 4 TB because it holds twice as many games. It was easy to install and straight forward by following several YouTube videos and doing research on it. I am happy with product overall!

    Cons: Might need a teen or adults help to install if you are a child.
    Limited amount of games can be held compared to 3 TB and 4 TB options ( prices can me comparable when on sale)

    Review for WD_BLACK 2TB SN850X NVMe booting to Windows 11 GPT with native support.
    This is my second time purchasing a Black Western Digital NVMe for myself (sixth M.2 drive overall).
    Like my SN700 before this one, I am thoroughly impressed with the performance of this drive. This drive spent some time on a Gen 3 board and it still felt faster than my Gen 3 drive. Now it rests on a Gen 5 slot running peak Gen 4 speeds on AsRock B650M Pro RS.
    Passmark gave the drive 55442 on my AsRock B650M Pro RS. You will not be disappointed with the performace of this drive. My previous SN700 never died or wore out fast so I'd expect good longevity with Western Digital these days.
    This PCB did not bend like the previous generation.
    Overall, worth every penny.

    Perfectly capable SSD, fast and easy to install. I was debating on a Gen 5 PCIe SSD, but after some research, I noticed that most cases wouldn't benefit too much from it. When gaming, you wouldn't necessarily see any improvement as it'll be dictated by other factors than the SSD speed. This was more than enough speed-wise and stores all of the games I want to keep ready at any time. No issues to note.

    Most drives I've ever seen that claim 1TB of storage come in around ~960GB. This WD Black is 930GB. That is a pretty serious 70 GB difference from a full 1TB of storage. Huge minus when trying to copy/clone a 1TB drive, since its too small.
    As for the drive itself, it seems pretty awesome for what it is. Fast, light, doesn't get too hot. Significant speed increases per CrystalDisk over the m.2 that came with my pre-built PC.

Mi computadora lentísima por lo mismo, la actividad del DD siempre al 100%. Compré este disco duro Western Digital Black y SANTO REMEDIO. Mi computadora volvió a ser el "avión" de siempre, arranca en unos segundos y recuperó su velocidad en general. Lástima que perdí varios archivos importantes, pero ahora sé que mi información está a salvo.
