Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has presented Ndoniyamanzi Luhlanga with E75 000 as a Government reward for her silver-winning performance at the Dance World Cup in Prague, Czech Republic. The PM has further presented a personal reward of E5 000 to Ndoniyamanzi. PM: "We are pleased to know that this is the country’s first medal at a World Championship sports event in a long time. The fact that this drought has been ended by a 11-year-old makes it even more outstanding. Ndoni, you have written your name not just into sporting history, but into the history of our great Kingdom." PM: "I am now pleased to hand over this token of appreciation of E75 000 to you, Ndoni, from His Majesty’s Government, for your outstanding performances and for putting Eswatini on the world map. This is part of the standard recognition programme that Government runs for excelling, podium-finishing athletes through the Ministry of Sports, Culture, and Youth Affairs." PM: "I wish to thank Ndoni’s family for fully supporting their daughter to pursue her passion and talent in dancing. The family structure is integral in the development of our children, who are the future of our country and from whom our future leaders will come. Without the family’s support, we would not be here today." PM: "I also wish to thank Velile Dube and the entire Talent ‘n’ Motion Academy team for their selfless work in nurturing this rising star." PM: "Congratulations, Ndoni. I urge you to remain focused and dedicated to your studies as well as growing and perfecting your craft. I look forward to receiving you and your family again here at Cabinet Office for many more celebratory occasions."

Prime Minister, H.E Russell Mmiso Dlamini's message on #AfricaDay: "Happy #AfricaDay, Eswatini! I am a proud African. Africa is my home. I was born in Africa, raised in Africa, and educated in Africa. I do not only live in Africa, but the African Spirit, Ubuntu, lives in me. I have more than one billion fellow Africans that I can call my brothers and sisters. Together, we must educate Africans to rise and defend our African identity. This year's #AfricaDay theme, "Educate an African fit for the 21st Century: Building resilient education systems for increased access to inclusive, lifelong, quality, and relevant learning in Africa" speaks strongly to us as His Majesty's Government. I am happy that His Majesty’s Government has initiated a comprehensive review and redesign of the education system of the Kingdom of Eswatini. The objective is to strengthen our education system to be among the best in Africa, to educate Africans fit for the future, because the future belongs to Africa. This is ambitious but not out of reach as Eswatini once offered the best education in the region. Our partners are ready to follow our leadership and work with the national multi-sectoral task team to review and strengthen our entire education system. In the meantime, Government will intensify efforts to ensure that no child is left behind. All citizens of Eswatini must be given an opportunity to reach their full potential, and we cannot go wrong with education. That is why Government offers free primary education and subsidised tertiary education. We count on the support and patience of the Nation as we work on the transformation of our education system to ensure that it is fully inclusive, one of quality, is resilient and helps emaSwati access the skills they need for today's and tomorrow's economy."
