443 Greenwich is the restoration and transformation of a historic 19th-century book bindery factory into 21st-century luxury residences preserving its unique structure and character.

443 was recently converted by Metroloft and CetraRuddy Architects. This boutique building offers 53 loft-style homes ranging from 2,900 SF to 4,250 SF, and eight penthouses ranging from 4,500 SF to 9,000+ SF. Traditional units include 2, 3, and 4 bedroom residences with private elevator entries. This LEED-certified condominium offers the highest degree of service with tenured staff on-site 24 hours a day. In addition to the doorman and concierge, there is a live-in resident manager, along with extra staff to ensure that every resident’s needs are met.

Each home at 443 offers a combination of historic architectural elements enhanced with the latest in luxury amenities. Private entry foyers feature custom metal wall panels and 8-inch wide-board white oak floors that extend throughout the space. Original Carolina yellow pine beams in each residence beautifully complement the mahogany Thermopane windows. Antique bronze doors are paired with pillowed doorknobs in a light antique brass.

The custom kitchens designed by Christopher Peacock are encased in wood and fluted glass cabinetry with 2-inch thick Calacatta marble on the kitchen islands. The primary baths feature slabs of bookmatched Calacatta marble behind a freestanding tub, under-floor radiant heating, a trough sink, separate W.C. with bidet, warming towel rack and a glass-enclosed rain shower with built-in bench. Powder rooms have leather-finished Calacatta marble slab walls and custom vanities with bronze and glass surfaces.

Residents enjoy an outstanding portfolio of amenities, including a 70-foot-long indoor swimming pool swathed in travertine with its adjacent Turkish hammam. Additionally offered are a cutting-edge fitness center with private Yoga/Pilates studios, infrared sauna, children’s playroom and massage room. Private storage rooms, cold storage fridges adjacent to the lobby, and temperature-controlled wine lockers are available for purchase.
