Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe Dies At The Age Of 89

Former U.S. Senator James Inhofe [R-OK] is being remembered as a staunch conservative and for pushing back on the environmentalist claims that human activity was to blame for “global warming”. Senator Inhofe’s family says he died Tuesday morning after suffering a stroke over the 4th of July holiday weekend. Inhofe was an unabashed  conservative known for his strong support of defense spending and his denial that human activity is responsible for the bulk of climate change. He once called global warming  “the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people.” He was a powerful force in Oklahoma politics for more than SIX decades, and died at the age of 89.
