Kindle Cases Are Almost 80% off on Amazon Today

A lot of us are readers, aspiring readers, or at the very least I’ll-finally-finish-Swann’s-Way-when-the-stars-align type readers. The Amazon Kindles we all got for Christmas seemed to do a lot of the heavy lifting (it fits everywhere! It has seemingly unlimited battery life! It easily stores files of books that you may or may not have paid for!) with one remaining obstacle: the Amazon cases are kind of expensive.

They’re sleek and pretty, for sure, but the Bezos-branded ones cost north of $30 for the standard plastic/fabric model, more if you dare dream of leather. The Cobak brand of knockoffs (dupes?) is way cheaper, though, even cheaper today with steep discounts (nearly 80% for some of them). About $9. You’ve had coffees that are more expensive, you may as well take the plunge and become a subway bibliophile (until the battery dies).

Help your entire e-library brave the elements at extremely wallet-friendly (off-brand) prices. Here are a few of our favorites:

$8.99 $39.99 78% off

This one works for the standard Kindle 11th generation, and looks indistinguishable from the Amazon counterpart. The reviews are good, too.

$12.95 $18.95 32% off

Congrats: someone loves you. You got the fancy Kindle for Christmas, a.k.a the one with the light that’s kind on your eyes in the dark. This case, going for just under $13, has an “Auto Sleep Wake Feature,” just like its Amazon-branded counterpart. It works for the Kindle Paperwhite 11th Generation 6.8″ and Signature Edition 2021 alike.

$18.99 $29.99 37% off

This case, also for the 11th generation, is an alternative from the brand Ayotu, which also has heavily discounted Kindle cases; this one’s 37% off and channels that grainy, fabric look of the older cases. It’s also got the auto wake feature, and claims to have back cover shock absorption.
