Meet the Sportsmen’s Marathon Team

Scott Babka lives with his wife and two kids in the South End in Boston. He’s the CFO of One Mighty Mill and a member of the Sportsmen’s Board. He also serves on the Board of the Newman School.

Why I’m running for Sportsmen’s: I’m running for Sportsmen’s to bring awareness to all the great work that Sportsmen’s does for the community, both on and off the tennis court.

Hi! My name is Tommy Grosskopf and I’m a 5th year mechanical engineering student at Northeastern University, originally from Hingham, Massachusetts. In my free time I love to run, ski, hike, play guitar, listen to music, and hang with friends. The Boston Marathon will be my first marathon, and has been a dream of mine throughout my time at Northeastern.

My name is Gracie and I am a young activist, student, runner, and much more. I grew up living across 7 different states, but the formative years I have spent in and around New England have always caused me to consider Boston home. I have a passion for working and connecting with people whether that’s through service, working in clinics, and joining clubs or community groups. I hope to channel this passion into my dream of pursuing a career in global health medicine and advocacy.

My name is Nina Rodgers and I am a manufacturing Engineer/supervisor working In Somerville, MA at a start-up company called Form Energy! I have been running for a couple years but just got serious about races recently and love competing in half-marathons, spartan races, and tough mudders! I also love Tennis, Volleyball, Skiing, Piano, Cooking, LEGO building, and hiking!

Hey everyone! My name is Nick Stec and I’m currently a sophomore at Boston College. I grew up playing tennis and only started running after high school. The Boston Marathon will be my 3rd race and I’m super excited to partner with Sportsmen’s!
