Manzardo could soon be called up by the Guardians if Steven Kwan's hamstring injury requires a stint on the injured list, reports Zack Meisel of The Athletic.
Cleveland is awaiting the results of an MRI for Kwan, who exited Saturday's game against the Angels with hamstring tightness. Manzardo is one of the organization's top prospects and is off to a hot start at Triple-A Columbus this season with nine homers and a 1.017 OPS through 29 games.

It's a milestone only 10 percent of players in MLB history have reached, and Ramirez achieved it during his 12th campaign in Cleveland. The 31-year-old has been one of the most consistent producers in the majors since he broke out in 2016, and he could be in the MVP mix again this year with 23 homers, 18 steals and a .275/.331/.533 slash line through 87 games.
Kwan has a .396/.457/.566 slash line through 209 plate appearances this season, putting him 15 plate appearances short of qualifying for the batting title, per MLB Network.
Kwan was sidelined most of May by a strained hamstring, but when healthy he's been one of the best hitters in baseball this season. The 26-year-old has just three stolen bases after tallying 40 thefts between the previous two campaigns, though his five homers is already one short of his career high. Kwan is unlikely to continue flirting with a .400 average for too long, but he's the clear favorite to with the AL batting title as long as he can stay healthy.
The right-hander took a bit of a step back in 2023 with a career-worst 3.22 ERA and 12 blown saves, but he's been lights out early this season. Clase had a strong start to 2024 as he finished April with a 0.59 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 15:1 K:BB through 16 appearances, but he somehow improved upon those numbers in May with a 16:2 K:BB and just one unearned run allowed on four hits over 15 frames. The 26-year-old has re-established himself as arguably the top closer in baseball and is on pace for a third straight campaign of 40-plus saves.

Ramirez reached 10 years of service time in the major leagues last Wednesday, reports Joe Noga of The Cleveland Plain Dealer.
It's a milestone only 10 percent of players in MLB history have reached, and Ramirez achieved it during his 12th campaign in Cleveland. The 31-year-old has been one of the most consistent producers in the majors since he broke out in 2016, and he could be in the MVP mix again this year with 23 homers, 18 steals and a .275/.331/.533 slash line through 87 games.
Kwan has a .396/.457/.566 slash line through 209 plate appearances this season, putting him 15 plate appearances short of qualifying for the batting title, per MLB Network.
Kwan was sidelined most of May by a strained hamstring, but when healthy he's been one of the best hitters in baseball this season. The 26-year-old has just three stolen bases after tallying 40 thefts between the previous two campaigns, though his five homers is already one short of his career high. Kwan is unlikely to continue flirting with a .400 average for too long, but he's the clear favorite to with the AL batting title as long as he can stay healthy.
The right-hander took a bit of a step back in 2023 with a career-worst 3.22 ERA and 12 blown saves, but he's been lights out early this season. Clase had a strong start to 2024 as he finished April with a 0.59 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 15:1 K:BB through 16 appearances, but he somehow improved upon those numbers in May with a 16:2 K:BB and just one unearned run allowed on four hits over 15 frames. The 26-year-old has re-established himself as arguably the top closer in baseball and is on pace for a third straight campaign of 40-plus saves.
Manzardo could soon be called up by the Guardians if Steven Kwan's hamstring injury requires a stint on the injured list, reports Zack Meisel of The Athletic.
Cleveland is awaiting the results of an MRI for Kwan, who exited Saturday's game against the Angels with hamstring tightness. Manzardo is one of the organization's top prospects and is off to a hot start at Triple-A Columbus this season with nine homers and a 1.017 OPS through 29 games.
