Seattle Police detectives are investigating a homicide in West Seattle Saturday morning.
At 3:51 a.m. patrol officers responded to reports of multiple shots fired in the 1000 block of Harbor Avenue Southwest.
Police located a 22-year-old adult male in the roadway suffering from a gunshot wound (GSW). The Seattle Fire Department arrived and pronounced the victim deceased.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Multiple suspects fled the scene and have not been located.
A nearby residence was struck by gunfire, yet nobody was harmed. An additional 27-year-old victim in Renton was located with a GSW and he was transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition. His involvement is under investigation.
Officers cordoned off the area until homicide and crime scene investigation detectives arrived and processed the scene.
Detectives with the Homicide Unit are leading this investigation.
