Sonny Oram is the founder of qwearfashion.com: the first transgender/nonbinary fashion website in the world, where many LGBTQIA+  movements have begun such as #thisiswhatasexuallookslike. Qwear Fashion has been featured in places such as The New York Times, Huffington Post Live, and WBUR. Sonny’s words have been published in books including Beyonce in Formation and The Dangers of Fashion: Towards Ethical and Sustainable Solutions.

A multidisciplinary artist, Sonny works with paint, words, and music.

Sonny is the Communications Officer at the MIT Edgerton Center, where he leverages communications and design to champion diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
