Location & Getting Around
192 Spadina is just steps from Queen Street West – included in Vogue’s 2014 list of coolest neighbourhoods, ooh la la – Chinatown and Kensington Market. The area is where many of Toronto’s creative types come to work, and with restaurants, bars, concert venues, nightclubs, bowling alleys, ping pong, billiards, and tons of other entertainment you can play as hard as you work!

There is metered parking all along Spadina.
There is a Green P parking lot approximately 2 blocks north of the Centre for Social Innovation, on the east side of Spadina. Note that Spadina runs northbound so you must approach from Queen St.
There is a public lot on Sullivan St. Note that Sullivan runs westbound so you must approach from Huron St.
Ground Floor
CSI Spadina’s ground floor is fully accessible. There is a ramp at the main door to bring guests from the street level to our ground floor level.
Upper Floors
The coworking space on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors are not fully accessible: they can be reached via an elevator with a door of 30” width. Functionally this means that while we are able to accommodate many accessibility devices, those using larger devices may need alternative arrangements.

Community Makerspace
The Toronto Tool Library — located on the ground floor of 192 Spadina — is a is exactly as it sounds: just like a book library, but for tools! Its associated Community Makerspace is where people of all ages build projects using digital fabrication, coding, craft, woodworking and electronics.
The Toronto Tool Library offers memberships for those looking to share space and tools, and education programs for adults, kids and educators. Stop by their monthly Community Night from 5-8pm where they open up their Makerspace and Tool Library to the public to use for free. Get access to 3D printers, our open-source laser cutter, full wood shop and all the tools in our inventory to work on a project. Expert volunteers are on site to help you with your projects!
