The Philadelphia 76ers continued to be active in free agency as the front office has taken full advantage of the cap space they accrued heading into the summer. The Sixers have been able to land Paul George, Andre Drummond, Eric Gordon, and now Caleb Martin in free agency.
Martin is the latest addition as the Sixers are finalizing a deal with him to steal him away from the Miami Heat. He averaged 10.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while shooting 34.9% from deep in the 2023-24 season for the Heat. He was a big contributor to Miami’s 2023 finals run when he shot 42.3% from deep in the playoffs.
His best performances have come against the Boston Celtics. He averaged 19.3 points and shot 48.9% from deep on 6.4 attempts in the 2023 Eastern Conference finals against Boston and shot 44% from deep against the Celtics in the 2024 playoffs.
