Five-time champion: Sitawi is one of the 100 Best NGOs in Brazil

The Best NGOs Award has just announced 100 winning Brazilian third sector organizations in 2022 and we are one of them. The recognition selects the winners for their good practices in governance, transparency, communication and financing. You can find the complete list at awards website.

This is the 5th time that Sitawi is recognized by the award due to its good practices. For Leonardo Letelier, CEO and founder of Sitawi, the organization's prominence is further strengthened by fostering connections with a network of good agents.

?Our partners, collaborators and others who believe in our purpose are transformation agents who act for the positive impact. And that's what we're here for: re-signify, enable and mobilize. This recognition only reinforces why we do what we do. We are very happy to win this award for another year?, he declares.

The award is organized by Instituto O Mundo que Quero, Instituto Doar and Ambev VOA, with the support of researchers from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Instituto Humanize and Fundação Toyota do Brasil.

The official awards ceremony is back to being in person this year and is scheduled for the day November 25th, in São Paulo. In addition to the top 100, awards will also be given to the best NGOs by state, by cause, the ten best small organizations and the best among them. These organizations are highlighted for achieving a high degree of management and efficiency in socio-environmental transformation.

This Saturday (22), we will be present at the FIIS – International Festival of Social Innovation to accompany the announcement of the Best NGOs Award finalists and discuss the impact ecosystem. Silvia Daskal, Partnership and Relationship manager, and Liane Lima, senior Impact Investment analyst, participate in panels at the event. check out.
