Happy Father’s Day Cleveland! We take the time to celebrate fatherhood and say thank you to the ones we call “Dad.” Let’s show some love by checking out these free and low-cost Father’s Day events happening in Cleveland this weekend.

Father’s Day Old School Skate

Zelma Watson George will be hosting an old school skate night on Sunday, June 16, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Come enjoy some old school jams and request dad’s favorite song. Fathers skate for free when bringing the family. For all other attendees, general admission is $7 and skate rental is $4. Food will be available for purchase at the concession stand. A Catch at League Park

Batter up! Come to the Baseball Heritage Museum and play some ball with your dad on Sunday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you don’t have a glove or ball, the museum will provide them for you. This event is free for dads and kids under 9.  Donuts, coffee and juice will be served while they last. League Park is located at 6601 Lexington Ave. For more information, click here.

Free Fishing

Ohio’s annual free fishing days are here. All Ohioans can fish in any waterway without a license on Saturday, June 15, and on Sunday, June 16. Hit the waters with dad and cast your rods into the lakes, rivers and streams across the state. For more information, click here.

Father’s Day Fitness Health Clinic

The Friendly Inn settlement will host a health clinic on Saturday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free event will include health screenings, instructor-led fitness sessions, community resources and refreshments. The first 100 men who participate in health screenings will receive a $25 Dave’s Supermarket gift card. The Friendly Inn is located at 2386 Unwin Rd.
