NASA SHIELD DRIVE Science Center Sponsored Research Experience for Undergraduates:
recruiting students to gain research experience within a multi-institution NASA-funded DRIVE Science Center
SHIELD Distributed REU Program
SHIELD is led by Prof. Merav Opher at Boston University but has collaborators throughout the US. Students working with SHIELD mentors will be funded by SHIELD but will be part of the REU cohort at the mentors home institution (see institutions below). SHIELD REU students will also be supported by and participate with SHIELD related events remotely.
Applicants: SHIELD and its partner REU programs encourage all applications, including those from students who have few or no research opportunities at their home institution.
