Insights Analyst

Position Purpose/ Context

Responsible for providing business intelligence and insights by leveraging available financial and commercial data and external research information to support business decisions and action planning. The incumbent shall act as a business partner to channel and commercial team members to provide required analysis to develop trade plans for specific channels, products or categories. This role shall also support in the development of Power BI to be utilized by the commercial team members and other stakeholders.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

• Monthly Promotion P/L preparation
• Execution of TakeUp and DropSize Analysis monthly to analyze beverage spend trends and share recommendations to Commercial Teams.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of trade spends, ROI and best practices by analyzing historical trade spend for GT and MT
• Power BI dashboard development and maintanence for RGM and commercial use
• Collate and monitor trade spend trends (GT-TRO) and landscape and highlight trends and insights for action/reaction planning.
• Support the development of SG and MY Business Review financial decks
• Collaborate closely with Sales Teams, Commercial Planning, Customer Development teams to collate information for development of business strategies, performance tracking and post-implementation reviews.
• Support in the preparation financial data for cycle plans with Trade Marketing team members – monthly FOC data, Active/Inactive outlets
• Check source data to verify completeness, accuracy and report inaccuracies.
• Contributing to team & commercial results through delivering ad-hoc assignments from supervisor.
