The Editor (Healthcare) will contribute to the growth of our digital healthcare portal and website by ensuring that the content delights and engages today’s healthcare professionals, while differentiating and formulating educational healthcare content that is suitable for public consumption.
Responsibilities And Duties
Management of pool of content writers including assignment of topics and managing timelines and budgets
Ensuring the quality of content and variety of topics meets the needs for user acquisition and viewership growth
Quality control of content to ensure international standards of writing, language usage and story-telling
Editing clinical articles that are suitable for healthcare professionals and news pieces, narratives, that fulfil the objectives of our projects
Content writing
Manage interview questions for account managers to conduct with doctors and key opinion leaders and craft articles from those discussions
Working with account managers to create and edit content while adhering to healthcare and pharmaceutical medical, legal, regulatory requirements and guidelines
Staying up to date with healthcare and medical industry news, trends and timely topics and using this information to create the best possible content
Qualifications And Skills
Minimum of 5 years professional content writing or copywriting experience at a publication or agency
A high level of comfort operating in the healthcare space - and the ability to quickly master the unique vocabulary and mindset that is the world of healthcare, medical products and pharmaceuticals
Experience in either journalism or science/ healthcare content writing or copywriting
