What do you do if you're an entrepreneur afraid of failure in the enterprise software industry?
If you are afraid of failure then you are not an entrepreneur. Failure is not a bad thing. It shows that you at least tried. To be successful in the overcrowded enterprise software or SaaS space, best approach is to find 2-3 anchor customers early in the game and co-build the product with them. These deals may not give you profits initially but will help you in building a product with user insights and you don’t have to wait for market validation. Trick however is in identifying the right customers preferably a market leader and mature client. If you select a laggard then you will end up building something which no one needs.
