CIG was in Ho Chi Minh City earlier this week to launch the third run of the Modern and Effective National Governance Programme for Emerging Leaders (MENGPEL), together with our long-time partner, the Vietnam National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA). Over the next two months, senior leaders from central and provincial governments will participate in the four-segment training programme, focusing on key themes such as leadership, internationalisation and digitalisation, systems thinking, and building strong organisations. We also took the opportunity to meet with officials from the Ho Chi Minh City government, including its mayor Mr. Phan Van Mai, to explore potential collaborations. We are happy to continue our journey with the Vietnamese government, supporting them to strengthen government capabilities.
