Email Placeholders

Updated on July 1, 2023

In Sensei LMS, email placeholders are unique variables that can be used in email notification templates to dynamically insert dynamic content when sending automated emails to users.

These placeholders are replaced with actual data when the email is sent.

Email placeholders allow you to personalize the emails by including information specific to each recipient. They provide a way to dynamically populate content such as the user’s name, course name, enrollment details, completion status, and more.

Please note: In Sensei LMS, email placeholders are not universal, meaning that each email template has its own set of placeholders. However, many of these core placeholders appear across different email templates.

You can find a complete list of Sensei Email placeholders below, organized by the type of Sensei email templates where they can be used.
