We are thrilled to announce that our consortium's project proposal, PLANTOMYC, has secured EU funding through the HORIZON initiative! 🎉 With a perfect score, we are among the only two successful applicants out of 59, and we couldn’t be more proud. 🌟 Our transformative project aims to revolutionize the alternative protein sector by combining the benefits of plant-based food sources with the functional and sensory advantages of mycelial biomass, aligning perfectly with Millow’s vision. We’re excited to develop innovative, minimally processed hybrid meat analogues that are not only sustainable but also delicious. 🍃🍽️ We are honored to collaborate with amazing partners like the University of Reading, KNAW - Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen, BRØL | B Corp®, and many others. 🌟 Recapping a Memorable Scale-up Investor Day in Copenhagen! 🌟 On May 27th, Millow.co had the privilege of presenting at the Scale-up Investor Day, an event hosted by Nordic Innovators Corporate Finance, Danske Bank, and Danish Business Angels - DanBAN. It was a fantastic day filled with innovative ideas and promising investment opportunities! 🏦✨ Here’s a glimpse of what went down: 🚀 Exciting Presentations: We were proud to have Dr. Coralie Hellwig, our Chief Product Officer (CPO), and Esmaeil Taherzadeh represent Millow.co. They presented our vision alongside five other inspiring scale-ups from Scandinavia. Each pitch was a unique showcase of creativity and the potential to shape the future. 🤝 Engaging with Investors: With over 40 private and angel investors in attendance, there was plenty of opportunity for meaningful networking and discussions.
