This monograph, in Spanish, is an archaeological study of the ceremonial center of
Huandacareo, located in the municipality of Huandacareo, in the State of Michoacan,
Mexico. This site is situated on the periphery of the Tarascan expansion area which
flourished during the Late Postclassic period. In the compilation of this work the author uses
a combination of historical documents and archaeological data from the site itself to suggest
