The site Arbon Bleiche 3 lies south of the town of Arbon on a plane, which today is used as a
commercial and industrial zone (Fig. 2 and 3). The Stone Age settlement was originally
located directly on the shores of Lake Constance in a bay between Arbon and Steinach in
