The purpose of this study was to validate the three compartment kinetic model for myocardial
blood flow measurements using € 3N-ammoniadeveloped at our insti tution. Blood flow
estimates with € 3N-ammoniawere com pared to those obtained with € 50-waterin the dog
model. Both PET flow measurements were correlated with micro sphere determined blood
flows over a wide flow range.
