The article presents a study that investigates how children with autism spectrum disorder
(ASD) shows engagement, social, and play behaviors with interacting with social robots. It
offers brief overview of the hypotheses and method of the study which assumes that children
with ASD perform better in functional play task. It also mentions the result of the study which
suggests that children with ASD exhibit more collaborative play with robots as their play
partners.
