MIBG uptake in the two patient groups. Myocardial MIBG uptake was apparent in the
anterolat eral myocardial region in 16 patients. In 2 patients studied from 6 mo to 2 y post-
transplantation and in 1 patient studied from 2 to 12 y post-transplantation, MIBG uptake was
apparent in only the anterior myocardial region. In these patients, intensity of myocardial
MIBG uptake was mild (mean HMR= 1.35 ±0.03). Three patients studied from 2 to 12 y post-
transplantation had myocardial MIBG uptake in the anterolateral and septal regions, with�…
