Meet Our Advisory Board

Sakhi’s Advisory Board consists of a high-impact group of individuals poised to make a real difference in the lives of the people we serve. They act as champions of our organization and raise the profile of our work in New York City and beyond.

Indrani Goradia

Indrani Goradia is a philanthropist and advocate for women’s health and empowerment. She is the founder of Indrani’s Light Foundation, a nonprofit foundation dedicated to improving the level of care for domestic violence survivors by training and supporting front-line domestic violence caregivers in reducing compassion fatigue and burnout.

Indrani is a tireless advocate for girls and women, leading empowerment trainings in several countries around the world. She is a board member of Everywoman Treaty and Think Equal. In 2013, Indrani joined forces with the global health organization PSI and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to transform the lives of girls and women and lift them out of poverty. In partnership with PSI, Indrani’s Light Foundation launched programs to eradicate gender-based violence in India and her home country of Trinidad in 2014.

An author, speaker, and certified life coach, Indrani has delivered keynote addresses at conferences and leads workshops around the world. Indrani has participated as a speaker at the World Women’s Health and Development Forum at the United Nations. She also recently participated on the keynote panel at the Nexus Conference in Jamaica, the UBS’s “It’s a Girl” conference in Switzerland, Global India Fund’s Girl Rising screening and panel in D.C., Women Moving Millions, TEDxPortofSpain 2015 conference, and at the 2016 Women Deliver conference in Copenhagen.

Indrani completed her formal education in New York City, attending Queens College and Kent State University. She is currently preparing to begin a certification in Social Impact Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania and an executive leadership program at THNK in Amsterdam for 2019. She is a triathlete and marathoner in her spare time.

Adil Nathani

Adil Nathani is a Managing Principal at QMS Capital Management LP, where he serves as chief risk officer and chief financial officer and is a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining QMS Capital, Adil worked for Citigroup, Old Lane, CDC Investment Management/Capital Markets NA (and its successor organizations), Normandy Asset Management, and AMBAC. He began his career in finance at Smith Breeden Associates (acquired by Amundi). Adil holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where he currently serves on the Board of Visitors. He also serves on the board of Community Access Inc.

Neha Desai Shah 

As the President of GEP, Neha guides the company’s growth initiatives by building and managing relationships with strategic customers and leading full-scale consulting engagements. Prior to joining GEP, Neha was a consultant at Accenture where she worked on a variety of sales, marketing and R&D engagements for Fortune 100 companies. She also assisted in the development of Accenture’s Pharmaceutical and Medical Practices’ eCommerce venture strategy. Before that, she was an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Neha received her MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with distinction. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Wharton School.

Among other honors, Neha recently received the ISM Women & Leadership Diamond Award for outstanding leadership and achievement in the procurement and supply chain sector.
