Congressman Ruppersberger will be retiring after 22 years in The U.S. House of Representatives at the end of the 118th Congress on January 2, 2025. His office will be accepting constituent casework until further notice, but please be advised that this is subject to change.

One of the most important jobs I have in Congress is helping my constituents when they are having problems with federal agencies. I'm excited to announce I have launched a new digital Privacy Act release form, in addition to former PAR forms, to further streamline the federal casework process for residents of Maryland's Second District.

In 2023, Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger's office successfully recovered more than $1.6 million in tax dollars for the constituents of Maryland’s Second District. Funds included disability benefits for veterans, Social Security for seniors, tax refunds and more. In all, Congressman Ruppersberger and his team opened 1,994 cases on behalf of constituents and responded to more than 43,000 emails, letters, and calls in 2023.

The deadline for all submissions can be found on our landing page. This deadline gives Congressman Ruppersberger ample time to review and prioritize his requests to the Appropriations Committee.
