Frontend internship is officially over!🧑🏻💻 During the first two weeks, interns worked on developing applications for mutual rewards for employees. After that, they moved on to specific tasks such as State management, UX/UI design and admin dashboard development, in order to further improve their skills. A similar application has been used at Valcon for a year as a regular benefit, allowing employees to reward colleagues for their efforts and contributions on a monthly basis. The interns had no prior insight into our application, and their fresh ideas and suggestions helped us to see things from a new angle. We congratulate all interns on successfully completing their internship! 😊

Our colleague Laslo Uri, together with his team "OfficeTime," clinched the first place at the LLM Hackathon organized by the Serbian AI Society! Their task was to create an AI solution within 24 hours, and the application RE, a smart assistant designed for academic researchers by Laslo and his "OfficeTime" team, emerged victorious! This innovative application assists in reviewing scientific papers and creating mind maps. In July, they will have the opportunity to present their solution to AI technology enthusiasts from the region at the Eastern European Machine Learning Summer School (EEML). We saw off July in the most beautiful way possible - with a charity auction for our old office furniture. 🤗 Andjela from HR marked the beginning of this event with her gavel, and our colleagues took the auction seriously - the prices jumped significantly from the starting bid. We’re proud of our colleagues as they helped Martin and his family take a step towards a healthier and brighter future. The furniture that wasn’t sold was donated to the cultural centre in Prijepolje and the Women’s Safe House in Novi Sad.
