- Hyundai Auto Canada's diversity strategy is managed by a diversity advisory group led by the president and CEO -- the organization also established a goal to raise the representation of women to 40 per cent (currently 37 per cent) and the representation of Black employees to six per cent (achieved by the end of 2022)
- Hyundai Auto Canada created a DEI dashboard to identify gaps, areas of opportunities and successes, which is reviewed quarterly by the diversity advisory group -- the organization also monitors its recruitment practices and reviews weekly to ensure all DEI metrics are met, and will review with the president and CEO if metrics are not met in recruitment
- Hyundai Auto Canada hosts a quarterly networking event called HAC Attracts to connect with professionals that identify as a diverse candidate or a newcomer to Canada, with nearly 20 per cent of candidates leading to a successful hire
