The second season of "House of the Dragon" will chronicle the burgeoning war between Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy) and her supporters and Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) and her supporters, known as the Black faction and the Green faction. Max released an official trailer for the series as well as dueling trailers that feature the various sides of the conflict. In the latest trailer, In the trailers, Rhaenyra and Daemon (Matt Smith) are gathering their armies and deciding how best to proceed, while Alicent and her sons Aemond (Ewan Mitchell) and Aegon II (Tom Glynn-Carney) do the same.

In particular, season two seems to be teasing a confrontation between Daemon and Aemond, who ride Caraxes and Vhagar, two of the largest dragons alive at the time of the series.
