Job Summary:

As a pivotal figure at Rocket55, the Account Manager is the cornerstone of client satisfaction and success. This role leads and manages client relationships and oversees the implementation of all digital marketing initiatives. 


Rocket55 Account Managers focus on delivering world-class customer service and thrive in fast-paced, ever-evolving environments. The Account Manager will coordinate with project managers,  the Account Strategy Lead, and the broader production team to deliver for our clients. They expertly translate business needs into impactful digital marketing strategies, meticulously tracking and reporting on the progress and effectiveness of these initiatives. It's a role suited for visionary leaders who are passionate about making a difference, driving client success, and contributing to the dynamic synergy of our agency.


Responsibilities:

Client Communication and Relationship Management:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for clients
  • Maintains regular communication with clients to understand their needs, expectations, and feedback
  • Builds and nurtures long-term relationships with clients
  • Handles client queries and resolves issues promptly
  • Identifies opportunities for account growth and upselling additional services to existing clients

Project Management And Coordination:

  • Oversees the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns
  • Coordinates with various internal teams (such as SEO, PPC, content, social media, design, and project management teams) to ensure campaign success
  • Collaborates with the project management team to monitor project timelines and ensure that deadlines are met
  • Manages budgets and works with project management teams to allocate resources effectively

Performance Analysis And Reporting:

  • Monitors and analyzes the performance of digital marketing campaigns
  • Uses analytics tools to track campaign success and ROI
  • Prepares and presents regular reports (in collaboration with strategy leads and service strategists) to clients on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement

Internal Collaboration And Communication:

  • Works closely with creative, technical, and strategic teams to ensure that client needs are understood and met
  • Shares client feedback with relevant teams to improve service delivery
  • Participates in internal meetings and provide updates on account status

Continual Learning And Adaptation:

  • Stays updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices
  • Attends workshops, webinars, and training to enhance professional skills

Problem-Solving And Crisis Management:

  • Addresses and resolves any challenges or obstacles that arise
  • Works with Executive Sponsor and Account Strategy Lead to address and resolve challenges or obstacles that arise

Requirements

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field
  • 3 - 6 years of experience as an account manager within an advertising/marketing agency
  • Ability to understand complex client deliverables and confidently present them to clients
  • Excellent listener and note-taker
  • Solid verbal/written communication skills
  • Collaborative leader
  • Extremely detailed oriented and organized
  • Strong business acumen
  • Willingness to take on any task with enthusiasm
  • Fast learner and accepting of constructive criticism
  • Ability to work cohesively with clients and subject matter experts
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Problem-solving attitude with a consistent pursuit of results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years client service/account management experience in an advertising/marketing agency setting
  • 3+ years of experience with  SEO, pay per click, and/or Social Media strategies
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other Content Management Systems
  • Understanding of Amazon or other marketplace platforms
  • Analytics/Google Ads Certified
  • Basecamp or other project management software experience
