The Shops at Skyview Mall  will host a “K-Fun Summer School” Korean culture class on Sunday, July 28 from 2-5 p.m.

The mall, located at 40-24 College Point Blvd. in Flushing, is hosting the summer school event as part of its “Skyview High” theme, which runs now through early August. The theme explores aspects of Korean culture, including K-pop, music, art, fashion, food and cultural experiences.

During the summer school events, attendees can enjoy delicious snacks and beverages provided by aT Center America. One of the event’s highlights is a live kimchi cookoff competition, featuring three finalists competing for cash prizes ranging from $500 to $2,000, along with airline tickets and hotel accommodations, courtesy of aT Center America. Additionally, Level 4 of the mall will host a celebration of Korean food.

A Korean food and cocktail workshop (21+) hosted by Won Soju will also be available for soju enthusiasts of all backgrounds.

Participants who complete four or more ‘K-Fun’ classes will receive a graduation gift that includes a signed photo card from popular K-pop star Jung Dae Hyun to memorialize the memories they made participating in K-Fun Summer School.

Pre-registration is required, and tickets are limited. Register here
