JavaScript Frontend Developer

• DECSKILL CONNECT through which we provide our client with consulting services, as well as the implementation and management of information technology infrastructures.

We are looking for a Frontend Developer for a project based in Lisbon:

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their needs and translate them into effective user-centered solutions.
• Work alongside frontend developers and product designers to create and maintain internal design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products.
• Participate actively in cross-functional team meetings, contributing ideas and solutions to enhance the user experience.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of low code applications, providing support to development squads and ensuring seamless integration and delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in frontend development and low code platforms, bringing innovative ideas to the team.
• Participate in team-wide code reviews to uphold best practices and foster continuous improvement. This collaborative process ensures high coding standards, encourages knowledge sharing, and drives team growth.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in frontend development
• Knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Vanilla), and familiar with modern frontend frameworks and libraries.
• Understanding of Outsystems development.
• Understanding of Design Systems. Past experience in creation of Design Systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences that include attention to SEO, Accessibility and Responsive (Mobile) Design.
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively, while also being a reliable team player.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Adaptable and eager to learn, with a strong desire to grow professionally and contribute to the team's success.
