Reid's Palace, A Belmond Hotel

The fifth edition of The Art of Flavours took place last weekend with a once-in-a-lifetime event at Reid's Palace, A Belmond Hotel! Our Creative Executive Chef, José Diogo Costa, together with the Michelin-starred Chefs Luke Selby of Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, A Belmond Hotel, Alex Tsiotinis, Octávio Freitas, Valentino Cassanelli and Vasco Coelho Santos joined hands and minds to bring an exquisite 7-course menu to life at William Restaurant. Female Pastry Chef Isabel Nobre prepared the dessert, ensuring the most perfect end to this culinary experience. The menu has been paired with a selection of António Maçanita wines, showcasing the indigenous grape varieties and offering a taste of the Portuguese landscape in every sip.  After the starred dinner, the gastronomic weekend culminated with a lavish poolside party. An array of incredible rising stars’ Chefs, including Pablo Aranda of El Olivo from La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel, Maiorca, have been invited to delight guests with their innovative delicacies. Among almost 30 stalls, food and wine lovers enjoyed an incredible range of flavours and dishes. Belmond Legends at Identità Golose Last night Belmond invited some of its chefs and barmen at Identità Golose, an international hub of gastronomy and culinary arts. Our talents brought the flavours of Tuscany, Sicily, Campania and Madeira to Milan. Barmen Luciano Ferlito from Villa San Michele and Fabio Rossella from Villa Sant’Andrea opened the special night with their signature cocktails. Chefs Armando Aristarco, Daniele Sera, Josè Diogo Costa and our Roberto Toro joined hands to create a special menu.
