He wouldn’t turn on “Raw Input Buffer” unless he was using 4kHz, as the setting is only meant to be turned on for polling rates above 1kHz 🙂

I don’t think so, the Xray mousepads have hybrid surfaces. I don’t think it’s made the choice to get used to a new glide stop force etc etc.
