The film follows the journey of Dylan, a timid and unassuming young man who is trying to complete his initiation into a local punk gang. Dylan's task, assigned by the gang leader Buzz and his loyal sidekick Rudy, is to obtain a nail from MuscleMac, a fearsome and imposing local figure. Despite the danger, Dylan manages to retrieve the nail, only to receive a chilling warning that he will face certain death if he ever returns. Determined to prove himself to the gang, Dylan decides to put his past behind him by placing his ID in a ceremonial coffin and attempting to nail it shut, symbolizing the final farewell to his old self. However, unexpected events unfold, and Dylan finds himself in a sticky situation, forcing him to return to MuscleMac for another nail.
