What achievement are you most proud of in your professional career? The achievements I am proud of in my career are achievements that have greatly helped the patients and the organization which are:

Activating the first automated Parenteral nutrition compounder machine: This automates a process that was likely manual before, potentially leading to increased efficiency, accuracy, and safety in delivering essential nutrients to patients.

Establishing the first Home PN program: This program allows patients who need parenteral nutrition (PN) to receive it at home, improving their quality of life and reducing hospital stays.

Starting the first Self OPAT program: This program empowers patients to self-administer outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy (OPAT) at home, increasing convenience, reducing hospitalization rates, and thereby alleviating the burden of bed crisis in healthcare facilities.

Reducing waiting times for patients from 2 hours to 27 minutes: Through various process improvements and workflow optimizations, we successfully reduced the average waiting time for patients from two hours to a mere 27 minutes. This achievement not only enhances patient satisfaction but also improves the overall efficiency of the healthcare facility.

Establishing a pharmacy productivity dashboard for pharmacists: Recognizing the importance of data-driven decision-making, we implemented a comprehensive dashboard that provides real-time information on key pharmacy metrics. Pharmacists now have access to data such as prescription volume, medication dispensing time, and medication errors, enabling them to identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and enhance productivity. There was also a cost advantage to the online program compared to traditional options, which was a major plus. On top of that, online programs open doors to a wider range of prestigious institutions. Location is no longer a barrier to pursuing an MBA from a respected school.

But what truly surprised me was the immediate value I got from the program. The online format allowed me to apply what I learned yesterday to my actual work tasks today. This constant loop of learning and application made the program incredibly enriching. It wasn’t just theoretical knowledge – I was seeing real-world results in my day-to-day work.

What was the most surprising thing about an online learning environment? The most surprising thing about an online learning environment for many students, myself included, is the immediate applicability of the knowledge.
