What has been your favorite part of St. Louis so far? What makes St. Louis such a great place to earn an MBA? The people are my favorite part about being in St. Louis. I truly appreciate the hospitality of the Midwest, especially the people of St. Louis. I’ve made many friends here and enjoy spending time with them.

You completed your Global Immersion earlier this year? What was the best part of the immersion experience for you? What was the biggest takeaway you gained? During our DC trip, I enjoyed listening to different viewpoints and ideas about different parts of the world that I’ve never thought of. In Barcelona, we were conducting focus groups, researching and learning to adapt to a new environment quickly. My biggest takeaway is that the world we are living in is so interconnected, yet at the same time, there are many differences. The only way to go forward is to learn about the differences in people and cultures and to communicate with each other the best way we can.

Aside from your immersion and classmates, what was the key part of Washington Olin’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school, and why was it so important to you? I chose Olin because of the strength of the entrepreneurial environment. I’ve always wanted to be an entrepreneur, so Olin’s entrepreneurship resources will help me to reach my goal.

What course, club or activity have you enjoyed the most so far at Washington Olin? So far, besides global immersion courses, I have greatly enjoyed Tom Field’s “Financial Accounting” class. Although my background is in finance, he made the material so fun to learn that I missed the class every day after it was over.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: I became vice-CEO of Tosan Ofogh Hezare among international computer and mathematics gold and silver medalists. Then, I realized that having a title doesn’t make you a leader. I need knowledge and experience to become a better leader, so I decided to continue my education and get my MBA.

Describe your biggest achievement in the MBA program so far: In my opinion, my biggest achievement in the MBA program is meeting and making a lot of friends with such amazing people.

What has been your best memory as an MBA so far?  MBA Orientation Week is my best MBA memory. It was the first time I came to the United States and the same time I entered a US university. During that week, I saw many people from so many different countries, cultures and communities, which I will never forget.
