CAREER IMPACT
Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business won the career outcomes category, based on alumni survey data, for the third year in a row. Alumni gave it the highest marks over a three-year average for having the most effective career coaching and advising and the second highest score in alumni getting promotions and raises as a result of the degree.
After Santa Clara, Rice University Jones placed second overall in the category followed by University of Michigan Ross.
Career outcomes is based on alumni responses to:
- the average percentage of graduates to report earning a promotion and/or salary increase (40%)
- the average rating alumni gave their school’s career services and advising office (20%)
- the average percentage of graduates to say the program helped them reach their primary career goal (20%)
- the average percentage of graduates to say the program helped them reach their secondary career goal (10%)
- the ratings given to their ability to build a professional network through the online MBA program (5%)
- the quality of that network (5%)
